Declaration define external integer function SQLProcedures
( read-only SQL_handle_type StatementHandle,
value stream CatalogName,
value integer NameLength1,
value stream SchemaName,
value integer NameLength2,
value stream ProcName,
value integer NameLength3 )
Purpose
Returns the list of procedure names stored in a specific data source. Procedure is a generic term used to describe an executable object, or a named entity that can be invoked using input and output parameters, and can return result sets similar to the results returned by SQL SELECT expressions.
Input arguments:
- StatementHandle.
- CatalogName. If a driver supports catalogs for some tables but not others, such as when the driver retrieves data from different DBMSs, an empty string ("") denotes tables without catalogs. CatalogName cannot contain a string-search pattern.
- NameLength1. The length of CatalogName.
- SchemaName. The string-search pattern for schema names. If a driver supports schemas for some tables but not others, such as when the driver retrieves data from different DBMSs, an empty string ("") denotes tables without schemas.
- NameLength2. The length of SchemaName.
- ProcName. A string-search pattern for procedure names.
- NameLength3. The length of ProcName.
