Returns:
True if versions are compatible, false otherwise.

Declaration

  define external switch function dbIsVersionCompatible

Purpose

This function is used to determine if this version of the database library is compatible with the version of OmniMark currently in use. For example:

  do unless dbIsVersionCompatible
     put #error "omdb library is not compatible with this version of OmniMark%n"
     halt with 1
  done
