What's fixed

The following problems found in Omnimark 5.3, have been fixed in OmniMark 5.5. For errors fixed in previous versions, see (What was new).

The ommail library has had an error that duplicated periods that occurred in the mail message. This error has been corrected.

Variable type-heralds are no longer allowed. They were allowed in some places; this was an error. Some programs may need fixing when ported to this version of OmniMark. This error was introduced with OmniMark 5.3.

An interaction among #current-input, submit, and pattern variables was fixed.

A failure to handle word-end correctly has been fixed. This was introduced with OmniMark 5.3.

Functions that contain only catch blocks are now handled correctly. This error was introduced with OmniMark 5.3.

The test

     do when <string-expression> matches ...
is again supported. This error was introduced with OmniMark 5.3.

A memory allocation error involving start-tags containing more than 180 element attributes is fixed.

An interaction between reopen, keys, filenames, and function-calls has been fixed.

The UL pattern operator scope was incorrectly extended to the end of the pattern. This was introduced with OmniMark 5.3.
